Reward your clients on public celebrations

Public celebrations such as Mothers Day, Valentines Day or Easter are fantastic opportunities to give something extra to your clients to show them that you value their business and are willing to go that extra mile. A small gift can cost you almost nothing, but for your clients it will mean a lot.

Take a look at your promotional calendar and on every public celebration mark the date 1-2 weeks before. This should be the period where you give something back. Ensure you also mark a date a few weeks in advance of the promotional period to remind yourself that you need to plan.

You should pick a gift that is:

1) cheap
2) you can buy in bulk
3) related to the day.

Here are some examples to get you thinking:

Mothers Day: Buy a bunch of Daffodils, they are normally on offer around mothers day. It could either be for the client as a mum, or for the client to give to their mum.
Easter: A mini chocolate egg, you can always buy bags of them from supermarkets.
Valentines Day: Heart shaped chocolates are cheap easy gifts, or if you can find a cheap source in bulk, why not try red roses?
Fathers Day: Liquor Chocolates or Ferrero Rocher are good options. If you can get hold of miniature bottles of liquor then you could also be onto a winner.
