Most of us like to feel special and receive treatment that others might not get. That’s why we feel great when we get into night clubs that are notoriously difficult to get into; belong to exclusive golf or social clubs; or why private shopper clubs like Voyage PrivĂ© are so popular. So, why not create a bit of exclusivity for your salon clients?
What are the benefits?
1) You can offer targeted activities and programs to each ‘club’, to can help avoid potentially spamming all your clients with things that they would never normally take up.
2) You make your clients feel more important in return for their loyalty. The different clubs feel like they get special attention that other clients don’t receive.
So what clubs?
-Trend setters: These are the clients who are always ahead in fashion, so you can target them with the latest cuts and colour products/techniques.
-Seniors (maybe be careful how you phrase it!): You could offer them discounts on strengthening and hair loss services, or a loyalty scheme on perms and sets.
-Youth club: For your young ones, maybe look at no commitment 1-2 wash colour services and activities around events like proms and local school discos.
-VIPs: For your most loyal clients with the highest spend, make sure you really look after them. Special events, free samples of new products, the first to be invited to try out new services for free, etc.
